Overview

The Knowledge page is where you define what your assistant should know about your business. This information helps your assistant answer questions and provide accurate support during conversations. The more details you provide, the more helpful your assistant will be.
You can enter information manually or provide a website for automatic analysis.

What is Knowledge?

Knowledge is the factual information your AI assistant uses to answer questions about your business. It includes things like what services you offer, where you’re located, your pricing, and policies. This content helps your assistant provide accurate and helpful responses. Knowledge is not the same as rules.
  • Knowledge = facts and details about your business
  • Rules = instructions that shape how your assistant behaves or communicates
You can add knowledge manually or extract it from your website. The more detailed your knowledge, the better your assistant can help. Knowledge Examples: We offer personal training, HIIT classes, and nutrition consultations at our Los Angeles and Long Beach locations. New members get one free trial class. After that, sessions are $25 each or $90 for a 5-class pack. For info on rules, see Custom Rules.

Website

You can enter your website URL for your assistant to scan. After clicking Save, your assistant will analyze the content of the site to populate useful information it can reference during conversations. This process usually takes less than one minute.
Your assistant does not monitor your website for changes.
To update your assistant with new content, remove the website, save, then re-add it and save again.
Certain websites cannot be analyzed due to certain settings on the website. If your website analysis shows “unsuccessful”, you can still add all the details to your knowledge sets directly.

Knowledge Sets

Use this section to manually add key details about your business - anything that might help your assistant respond effectively. You can enter:
  • Services offered
  • Pricing
  • Business hours
  • Common questions and answers
  • Company background
  • Service area, qualifications, policies, etc.
Just type or paste your information into the input box, using line breaks to separate each item. Each entry will appear as a separate row in the knowledge table below. You can write entries as full sentences, facts, or in question/answer format.
You can add as many items as you’d like. More detailed info = better conversations.
You must include at least one info item for your assistant to function properly.
